ios 4.2.1 seems to have many surprises that have not yet been announced by Apple. In particular
through some tests conducted by Nokia Siemens showed the ability of the particular operating system to significantly reduce the congestion on the telephone and at the same time ease the burden on battery life.
The "secret" for these excellent results is a method called Network Controlled Fast dormancy which lets the phone into a sort of intermediate state between standby and operation so that the battery is not compromised at the same time the phone needs less input to use any application.
This is basically the system to achieve less congestion in the network, faster responses from your smartphone, and particularly less battery power. Obviously
NCFD need to use a network that supports the functions, but it seems that the different operators can overcome this hurdle with a simple firmware update.
